Amazing Grays Ministry shares messages of faith that overcomes fear through the grace of Jesus Christ in print, in person, and in the round pen.
The ministry began when two gray horses heard God say, “Who will go for me?” and answered, “We will.” **
May we share our message with you?
We are called to be “fertilizer” to the family of Christ.
One day I sat in my usual quiet place where I meet with the Lord each morning. This ministry was just beginning to materialize. Even more of a surprise than becoming a Christian writer was the call to start this ministry. I never expected to be in this position.
So I asked, “What is our role, Lord? What do You want us to do?”
God’s crystal clear answer was, “You are to be fertilizer.”
God’s Fertilizer?
When you consider I had just ended a twenty-plus year career as an equine professional (that means I worked in a barn) you might imagine my first reaction. Fertilizer? That’s what happens to the manure picked out of the horse stalls every day. So, we are to be manure? God had my attention.
Ever faithful, God provided the explanation. Some are called to sow and some to reap. Others are called to water and even others to remove weeds. Our mission is not to do any of those things.
Amazing Grays Ministry brings fertilizer to plants already growing in the garden. When applied correctly there will be greater bloom, hardiness, and production. The more robust the garden the more difficult it is for weeds to encroach.
Our message is not about horses, but about living a victorious life in Christ. Horses assist us at times, but are not the foundation of the message – the rock upon which we stand is the Word of God.
The plants in the garden are the children of God, the family of Jesus Christ. When we apply the right message – His message – each member of the family becomes stronger.
God’s Wit
If we do not apply the right message, then like poorly applied fertilizer… we just stink. Not only is God the ultimate authority on leadership and relationship, on hope and fear, but He also has an amazing sense of humor.
The message of our ministry, like fertilizer, is not applied daily to any one plant. We also serve the master gardeners who were themselves called to sow, to water, to prune, and to reap. We are not evangelists to those outside of the family. Our goal is to help bring strength, simplicity, and resolve to those who already confess Christ as Lord and Savior.
Freely Received, Freely Given
The message of faith that overcomes fear is freely offered in person, online, and in the round pen.* The message is also shared in books and audio formats. Check out the BOOKS page at LynnBaber – Simple truth-Simple Faith, or click the big blue button in the right column to visit the ministry store.
*Based upon location we may need to be creative in making travel arrangements.
May we bring our message to you?
May we bring a message to your bible study group, book club, retreat, leadership group, class, or organization? The message does not depend upon an interest in horses. Faith, fear, leadership, hope, and redemption apply to the walk of every Christian. As time passes, our message become less particular to the equine community and more generalized to benefit all plants in the garden.
