The Genesis of one Equine Christian Ministry – Author Interview

God’s disseminates His messages in many ways. In the case of Amazing Grays Ministry and Christian Horse Training that message usually involves an equine participant. Two gray horses started the whole thing. The foundation of all messages is God’s Word and one avenue we use to share is in book form.

ChristianeBooksToday.com is featuring an interview with horse trainer, ministry director, and author Lynn Baber until December 17, 2013.  The interview is in an easy-to-read Q&A format. The beginning of this equine ministry is part of the interview and there is also a glimpse into the future.

Just as animals were created and entered the world in Genesis before man, two gray quarter horses began serving God in ministry before we knew what was happening. Bo and Swizzle continue to play a very important role in sharing the message of faith that overcomes fear through Jesus Christ.

God wants the same three things from us that we ask of our horses:

  1. Show up
  2. Focus
  3. Offer obedience

The call to ministry is unique to each one who hears it but the message shared is constant and has not changed in more than 2,000 years. Christian Horse Training is discipleship with horses, not training any particular horse or person. The goal is to strengthen our own walk with Christ by learning the practical interaction of a worthy leader and invested follower in the arena with a horse.

If you have a minute, check out Lynn’s interview. No ministry funds were used. If there is a way we may be of service to you, please let us know. That’s why we’re here!

There are so many people and horses who have made this ministry possible. Prayers of gratitude have been offered for all, particularly those who played such an important role in 2013 as Lynn transitioned from disability to ability!

May you be blessed by God’s amazing grace.
