Need a Speaker or Clinician?
Our directors are available to speak to church groups, horse folks, or any group that would like to hear the message of grace and Victory in Jesus Christ. There is no fee for our speakers, but there could be other expenses depending upon location and event. Our entire purpose is to share this message and we appreciate every opportunity to do so.
Lynn is a retired equine professional and schedules events with or without horses. If you have a group of riders that would like to work on improving their relationship with their horses, and hear how that relationship reflects on the one they share with God – contact Lynn for more information or to talk dates. Horse participation is a delight, but not a requirement!
Barb and Larry accept limited speaking dates, but each of them have very unique experiences to share.
Our Directors
Lynn Baber
A retired equine professional, Lynn spent more than two decades as a horse trainer, breeder, exhibitor, judge, appraiser, and consultant. She still rides and trains her own horses, and is happy to share lessons learned with readers and audiences. Her focus today is sharing God’s message of grace, victory and joy with others. Helping horse owners build great relationships with their horses is an offshoot of her basic Christian message.
Lynn is the author of two books. AMAZING GRAYS – AMAZING GRAYS: Pursuing relationship with God, horses, and one another is being released April 20, 2010. Before she started her professional horse career, Lynn was a business consultant - specializing in leadership, marketing, and customer relations. She published her first book in 1989, The Art of Being FOOLISH PROOF: The best kept customer service secret. Lynn continues to write articles on most things equine as well as her blog, For Love of God and horses.
Lynn and husband, Larry, live in Parker County, Texas. After years in Arizona, Nebraska, Minnesota, and Michigan, Texas is a permanent home for the Baber family.

Barbara A. Schoeneberger
Barb is a blogger and freelance writer. She and her husband are avid animal lovers who share their home with two dogs, Gretchen and Francie, who were rescued by Barb and her husband, Roger Prai.
In addition to writing, Barb’s interests lie in the traditional sacred liturgy and practices of the Catholic Church and in creating beautiful art from photographs she and her husband have taken.
Throughout the 1990’s, Barbara and Roger operated a professional photography studio in southern Missouri.
Barbara worked with both large and small companies in her years as an organization development consultant, specializing in sales, management, and supervisory training.
A former parish choir director, Barbara has in-depth experience in sacred music and liturgy. Since the late 1980s Barb has written, edited, published monthly newsletters for select groups, and is the author of two business related books.
Both Barbara and Roger have been challenged by severe physical disabilities.
Her experience as a caregiver to her husband as well as her personal journey through chronic pain has been a valuable learning experience. Barbara shares both information and lessons learned about coping with suffering in her blog, Suffering With Joy. Her purpose is to help others make the most of the challenges God has sent them.

Larry D. Baber
Retired after 37 years as a consulting actuary, Larry D. Baber is an active volunteer for a number of non-profit organizations, with officer or board responsibilities for four of them. He and his wife, Lynn, live on a small acreage where they enjoy their seven horses, four dogs, three cats, and a donkey.
Larry has an extensive background in both the for-profit and non-profit sectors. He managed his own consulting profit center for 30 years, and has held many offices, from Board Member to President, in both national and regional professional organizations. Larry still maintains the professional designation of Fellow of the Society of Actuaries.
Before retiring, Larry showed horses bred by the ranch he and Lynn owned. When time allowed, Larry showed halter horses to regional success and one National Championship title. When he 'retired' in 2000, Larry started working full-time on the Baber ranch, breeding and selling horses, cattle, and baling hay. He and Lynn scaled back their operations and down-sized in 2007. Larry is a cancer survivor of more than 24 years and lives worry-free knowing Jesus is his Savior, and God is on His throne.
