Lynn at Heart’s Desire Ministry

Our message delivers Christian confidence in these end times, through grace and victory in Jesus Christ.

The purpose of Amazing Grays Ministry is to serve as fertilizer to the harvest being prepared. We are called to those who already confess that Jesus Christ is their Savior, to lift them up in these days of national, economic, and spiritual upheaval. There is good news!

What do folks say about the Round Pen Progams?
How Amazing! I thought that I knew what a horse was about, but I learned so much from Lynn. I not only learned more about horses, but what incredible wisdom she passes on about having a loving relationship with our Awesome God! I can’t wait to hear her speak again and watch how she relates to the horse. Thanks Lynn for some great insight and a wonderful time with friends.

Even folks who have never touched a horse can be captivated by the stories and information Lynn shares about working with stallions and how both men and women can be exceptional leaders in their homes and communities. These empowering messages are meant to simplify relationships, teach practical concepts and skills, and bring us closer to our Lord.

Lynn’s presentations are challenging as well as comforting, and confirm the truths of God’s word and creation.  Anyone who loves the cycles of natural life will feel both familiar and welcome.

Lynn says, “I just try to break all of life’s big issues into simple either/or choices. When Jesus says, “Come,” the choice is presented. All we have to do is make it. No more complicated at its heart than that.”

The amazing blessing of horses in ministry is that they teach humans the habit of simplicity.  Living in right relationship with God, horses, or one another isn’t always easy, but it can be simple. The heartbeat of every message is a personal and vital relationship to Jesus Christ.

After her career as both a business and equine professional, author and ministry director Lynn Baber retired as a National or World Champion horse breeder and trainer, having judged in both the United States and Europe. From conformation to reining skills, Lynn trained horses of many breeds.

The messages Lynn brings to audiences are also available in her 2010 book, Amazing Grays, Amazing Grace – Pursuing relationship with God, horses and one another.

Lynn’s new book, He Came Looking for Me – A true story of hope and redemption, is now available prior to its official media release. Click on either title for more.

Programs are tailored, whenever possible, to the specific audience. There are, however, themes that will be common to all.

* Faith that overcomes fear.

* Finding peace and joy today, regardless of your circumstances.

* The keys to amazing relationships.

* The difference between correction and punishment.

*  Why leadership succeeds and why it fails.

In additional to an extensive business resume, Lynn was a motivational speaker before leaving her ‘Dry clean only’ wardrobe behind for one more suitable to mucking stalls. When asked to compare the messages shared in the 1980′s to those of the ministry today she replied,

“Every good motivational speaker really brings the same information to their audience. The difference between entertainment and motivation is whether or not those in the audience wake up the next morning to live a different life. The same is true of those who share a Christian message. The content should be the same,  but the fruit is judged on whether those who heard the message are moved to some change in understanding or actual behavior.  The motivational messages I used in the 1980′s were true then, but now I know where they are in the Bible.”

Equine Programs

If your group would like to see how horses allow us to better understand our relationship with God, Lynn is available to use one of her amazing grays in a Show and Tell program, or will work with a “problem” horse provided by the group hosting the clinic. Every relationship issue with a horse or human comes down to one of two problems. With horses, these problems are all addressed on the ground and not from the saddle. Whether your issue is one of dis-respect, aggression, or resistance, the fix all begins with the same steps.

A Show and Tell Event

If you have a riding club or equine program and would like a hands-on horse and rider clinic, call or email Lynn to set it up. Like the speck and the log, every issue we have with our horse probably has a counterpart in our relationship with God. The test of whether or not your horse is obedient and secure in your leadership is when he or she chooses to follow you even when there is slack in the reins or lead rope – or no reins or lead rope at all. These practical clinics are designed to help horse owners understand how their leadership and level of commitment determines the quality of their horse’s performance and behavior.

Round Pen Clinic Basics

All that is needed for a round pen clinic at your location is a horse, a 30-foot round pen with safe footing, and a way for the audience to observe. Most round pen clinicians today take an untrained horse and in the space of a few hours get on and ride. When the process of these leadership and trust exhibitions is shared properly with those watching, the event blesses all who are touched.

What does Lynn say about her programs? “Sure, I did the quick get-on-and-ride stuff during my training career, but even if I were still sound enough to do it (which I’m not!) it would not be helpful to the message our ministry shares. Most horse owners don’t have the experience and foundation to achieve the same results with their horse back at home. My goal is to provide new concepts or skills that  every horse owner attending can take home and use right away.  The goal of every program is to not only help the owner with their horse, but to strengthen the foundation of faith they have in Jesus Christ.”

Contact Lynn by email to set up a time to talk about the needs of your group, or call her cell  – 817-565-3006

Programs are available for groups from Bible Study to Boot Camp, and from 20 minute lunch speeches to three hour horse clinics. Whether young or old, horse lover or not, the gospel message and the security of relationship in Christ apply to all.
